May the FORCE be with you!

Today I have a very special card to share.
My co-worker is getting married on Nov. 4th and everyone is dressing up in costumes for the ceremony. No, it isn't a Halloween themed wedding, they are just having fun with it. Since my DH and I can not attend I made him this card:
My friend and I share a love for Star Wars and I had to find a way to make Han Solo and Princess Leia.
I pulled out the Paper Doll Dress Up and Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridges and searched for all of the pieces that would work. For example: Han's vest is from the cowgirl, his holster is from the Policeman, Leia's dress is from the peasant girl, and her belt is from one of the super heroes.
To make the background look future-istic I used some embossing folders and some corrigated paper, I added some glitter glue and puffy paint and TA-DA all finished.

I hope you love my card as much as I do.
Best wishes to my co-worker and his beloved.

  1. Love it! Very creative. I have to show this to my fiance; he's a Star Wars fan. We'll most likely be hitting Star Wars Weekends at Disney World for our honeymoon next May.

  2. This is fantastic!! We too love Star Wars. My daughter is Yoda for Halloween this year. Our street always does a theme for Halloween and this year it is Star Wars. Looking forward to it! Thanks for sharing your great card!
