Over at Celebrate the Occasion the challenge this week is a color challenge: blue and white.
I needed to make a card for my friend who is preggers. Her shower is coming up in a couple weeks and as luck would have it she is having a BOY! So it made this challenge perfect for my card.
All of the paper I used is from my scrap box. I have been on a mission to get that box down to a smaller pile. The stamps are from Inkadinkado, the button is from my stash, and the yarn is actually from the blanket and hat that I am crocheting for the baby.
I'm not sure why my ink turned out the way it did. Maybe because it was cheap.
This is the work in progress baby blanket my friend's baby will snuggle up to.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Head on over to CTO and enter your own cre8tion.

This week at Die Cuttin' Diva's we are having a "Sweet Treats" challenge.
I used the present cut as my card base and the party hat as the embellishment.
The sentiment is from Emma at My Creative Time.
Thanks for stopping by. Sorry for the short post but I'm off to work.

Wow, another great week of cards at Die Cuttin' Diva's!
This week we were challenged to make a shape card.
Here is my cre8tion:
I loaded my Pagoda cartridge onto my Gypsy and took two shadows of the Kimono and welded them together to create this card. I had to flip the back side of the kimono so that when folded the sides would line up perfectly. I used black brads for the center of the flowers and Glossy Accents to make the flowers pop.
On the inside of the card I used two stamps from my Inkadinkado set.
Head on over to the DCD blog and enter your shape cards for this week's challenge.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
I have some exciting news to share with all of you today: I was selected to be on the design team over at Celebrate the Occasion!!! The best part of this news is that my sister was also chosen to be on the design team. I know we are going to have a great time making cards for CTO.
This is the birthday card that I made for the DT call.
I used the herringbone embossing folder from Cuttlebug, my paper doll dress up cartridge from Cricut, the face stamp is from My pink stamper, and the sentiment is from Stampin' up.
for the inside of the card I used stamps from Inkadinkado and Hero arts.
I made this card for my sister-in-laws father, "Papa Ken".
Thanks for visiting. -Yvette

So I took out my summer vacation solutions Cricut cartridge and decided to make a theme park card.
I may send this card to my nieces and nephew. They want to go back to Knott's Berry Farm.
All of the rides are cut at 2 1/2", the cloud stamp is from a Recollections set and the sentiment is from Miss Emma at My Creative Time.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with this week.
