The Sweetest Thing Sketch Challenge

Ok So this will be the last post for today. I told you I had a lot of craft time this weekend. Especially for sketch challenges. Here is another great one from The Sweetest Thing - Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I totally forget where I got this Digital image and sentiment but I love How the card turned out. I used the embossing folder "mosaic" to replicate the brick of a fire house.
Thanks for checking out my blog!

I had the best weekend! I was able to create so may cards and projects.
Here is another card I made using the sketch over at Card Positioning Systems.

The digital image is from Duntin Pike. I love his images! I also used the embossing folders from Cuttlebug. Such a simple sketch but sometimes the hardest to design.

Happy Birthday!

This month I am celebrating a great couple. Both of their birthday's are in April and only 3 weeks apart. So I was busy making a card for each of them.
We weren't able to get together on his birthday so I made him a belated birthday card.

And next week I am going on a girl's night out to celebrate her birthday! I just had to make her card girly and with some sparkle.

CAS Challenge

Over at Simply Scrapping Crafts they are hosting a Clean and Simple Challenge. You must use a patterned paper for your background and keep it simple. Here are my entries:

I was going for a girly themed thinking of you card and a boyish thinkoing of you card. Each has similar elements to the card like the bow and the strip of paper on the side but I wanted to showcase the colors and pattern of the designer paper.

S & S Sketch Challenge #60

My friend Eric is celebrating his 13th annual 29th birthday this Saturday, so I decided to make his card today. Over at the OWH Stars & Stamps Blog they have a great sketch.
The squares in the sketch worked out perfectly for the theme of the card. In hawaiian quilting they traditionally use this type of geometric pattern. Since my friend is a fan of all things hawaiian I couldn't resist.

Baptism Invitations

My Hubs and I are the proud Nino and Nina of our niece Olivia. You may remember the blanket I made for her a few months ago. These are the invitations for the baptism and party we will be having for her.
The christening digi is from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I printed it right on to cream cardstock and colored it using my colored pencils. The designer paper is from Hot Hues!, and the punch is Martha Stewart. The ribbon and cardstock is from my stash.

Animal Cards!

I have been bitten by the inspiration bug. This week has been so much fun. I have been able to put enought card kits together to make about 100 cards. My goal is much higher than that for National Crafting Month but it's a good start. Here is a cute Hippo card I made.
I used a sketch from OWH Stars & Stamps blog.
The paper is from K&Company, the stamp set is from Hero Arts and the card stock is from my scrap box.

Mother's Day Cards

Recently I have been preparing card kits for an upcoming card party I'm having.
The post before this were the father's day cards I put together and today I am showing you the mother's day cards.
I used a few of the sketchs from the Stars and Stamps Blog from OWH. If you haven't been to this blog please go and check it out. They have over 50 different sketches to get inspired by.
You may even be inspired to send them some cards.
I used S&S sketch #59. The designer paper is from K&Company, the stamp is My Creative Time, and the embossing folder I received with my Cuttlebug V2. The paper flowers are from my stash.

I am entering these cards in the Southern Girls Challenge and the Stars &Stamps Challenge blog.
