My Blogoversary is here! DAY 1

Welcome to my First Blogoversary blog hop.
The theme for this blog hop is "Firsts" (ex: 1st birthday, 1st Anniversary, Baby's 1st steps, etc) but I also wanted the hoppers to try a technique or project for the first time. Many talented crafters are hopping along with me today. Make sure you visit each and every one of them and leave them some comment love. I think you will enjoy everything that they have cre8ted. This hop will be for three days. Most of the ladies have made three projects so don't forget to come back each day. (August 5th-7th)

Now on to my card. My Niece/God-daughter turned one this past weekend. So what a perfect opportunity to cre8te a card for my blog hop.

I had just received my Wild Card Cricut Cartridge in the mail and knew I wanted to use it for the blog hop. This card is the first card I made using the Wild Card cart.



I wanted to add a shadow on the inside of the card so I used a slightly smaller cut of the same cupcake.

    Thanks for stopping by my blog and giving me the link to this--How funny that we both chose this as the first cut to use from this cart! I love how you decorated the cupcake! Those flowers are a great touch. Is that glitter paper for the top of the cupcake? I thought about using that too, but I often have trouble getting a good cut with it. Thanks again for sharing! This was great inspiration!
