CTO "Blue and White" Challenge

Over at Celebrate the Occasion the challenge this week is a color challenge: blue and white.
I needed to make a card for my friend who is preggers. Her shower is coming up in a couple weeks and as luck would have it she is having a BOY! So it made this challenge perfect for my card.
All of the paper I used is from my scrap box. I have been on a mission to get that box down to a smaller pile. The stamps are from Inkadinkado, the button is from my stash, and the yarn is actually from the blanket and hat that I am crocheting for the baby.

I'm not sure why my ink turned out the way it did. Maybe because it was cheap.

This is the work in progress baby blanket my friend's baby will snuggle up to.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Head on over to CTO and enter your own cre8tion.

  11. So cuddly adorable! The embossing makes me want to curl up in it -- just like your beautiful blanket!

I have the same thing happen with me -- inkwise -- with one of the Stampabilities pads I got for cheap. What brand is yours? I thought I was doing something wrong since I'm new to stamping...

Thanks for supporting us at CTO!

    Your fellow DT pal,

  17. What a cute card.Your friend wil love it. For along while I wasn't sure about my cards. Now, thanks to allmy fellow scrappers I feel confident and extremely content about the cards I make. It makes me smile when friends and family tell me they save all my cards. The question you asked about the paper is:I stamped the paper w/part of a dollar stamp I had. Thanks for you support.
