Trendy Twine Challenge #2

If you are looking for the Critter Sketch challenge click HERE

-Use a Pumpkin or Jack-o-lantern & some sort of twine on your card or project.-
Challenge will run from October 4th- October 27th.

I have wanted to crochet a pumpkin for a while now, but I could never find a pattern that I liked.
So I picked up my embroidery floss and started experimenting.
I think it turned out pretty well.
When I read the requirements for the Trendy Twine challenge I was excited to be able to use this little pumpkin. I decided to make Pumpkin Pie.
I used a crochet pattern from the internet for the leaves.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Another Baby on the way!

No, I am not expecting, but my husband's co-worker is!
This is the card and blanket I made for her.
Since the mom to be hasn't found out what she is having I decided to use both stamps.
I was going for a vintage look but I really don't have the right supplies for that theme.

I had started this blanket last Friday but realized on Sunday night that the pattern had a flaw.
So at 9pm Sunday night I started over and here is what I was able to produce.
(most of it was done while I was working). :)

The yarn is TLC ultra soft in neutral.
The shower is today. I hope she enjoys the blanket.

Thanks for visiting! -Yvette

Baptism Invitations

My Hubs and I are the proud Nino and Nina of our niece Olivia. You may remember the blanket I made for her a few months ago. These are the invitations for the baptism and party we will be having for her.
The christening digi is from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. I printed it right on to cream cardstock and colored it using my colored pencils. The designer paper is from Hot Hues!, and the punch is Martha Stewart. The ribbon and cardstock is from my stash.
