The stamps are from Inkadinkado, and the paper was given to me by a friend.
I wanted to show my gratitude to all of my followers for leaving me so many wonderful comments and encouraging me to become a better crafter. Thank you very much!

Critter Sketch Challenge

We were asked to use 3 different pattern papers for this challenge. You might remember a couple of weeks ago I decorated a coffin for another challenge. Well here is the second coffin I made. I had to add the bling since the Bride of Frankenstein is featured on this one.

I used the Happy Haunting Cartridge for BoF.
The three papers I used were the candy, the striped and the "Trick or Treat" star paper.
Now head on over to our Critter challenge and enter your project.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the last of my Halloween coffins.
HINT: DH of today's featured character! ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Celebrate the Occasion!

This week at Celebrate the Occasion we have a color challenge for you.
Red, Black and White
I wanted to make a Halloween theme card and this is what I came up with:
"I vant to suck your blood!"
Since the vampire was cut in four layers I needed to add a 4th color, grey.
I found the perfect background paper that tied the whole theme together.
I also added googlie eyes to some of the dots on the background paper.
I had a lot of fun making this card. I hope you will join us over at CTO.

Thanks for stopping by.

CTO "Blue and White" Challenge

Over at Celebrate the Occasion the challenge this week is a color challenge: blue and white.
I needed to make a card for my friend who is preggers. Her shower is coming up in a couple weeks and as luck would have it she is having a BOY! So it made this challenge perfect for my card.
All of the paper I used is from my scrap box. I have been on a mission to get that box down to a smaller pile. The stamps are from Inkadinkado, the button is from my stash, and the yarn is actually from the blanket and hat that I am crocheting for the baby.

I'm not sure why my ink turned out the way it did. Maybe because it was cheap.

This is the work in progress baby blanket my friend's baby will snuggle up to.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Head on over to CTO and enter your own cre8tion.

Graduation Time!

It's that time of year again. Graduations are upon us! My Creative Time's Emma challenged us to create a card using the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge and the color blue. I immediately thought of my Best friend, Suzanne. She is graduating with a masters from UCLA this June. Here is her card:
I decided to use the backpack from the Doodlecharms cart. I added the UCLA using the Base Camp cart. The binder paper was made using colored pencils and the stamps are from the "Mom you ROCK" set from Emma at My Creative Time. I lucked out that UCLA's school colors are BLUE and yellow in order to meet the color requirement for Emma's challenge. I had a great time making the paper rosette ribbon. I think it adds balance to the card.
My Best friend will see this card before she receives it because she follows my blog. I hope she likes it and will "act" surprised when she opens it in a few weeks. Congrats to all of her hard work. It has been a tough road but one well paved. Great job Suzanne!

Fairy cards

Here are a few cards I made using my new InkaDinkaDoo Fairy stamps.
I created this card for my SIL's birthday. The sentiments were made using word.

My sister inspired me to use speciality yarn on my card.

I am entering these into 365 Cards Day 65 challenge, and Divas by Design 1st Challenge.

CAS Challenge

Over at Simply Scrapping Crafts they are hosting a Clean and Simple Challenge. You must use a patterned paper for your background and keep it simple. Here are my entries:

I was going for a girly themed thinking of you card and a boyish thinkoing of you card. Each has similar elements to the card like the bow and the strip of paper on the side but I wanted to showcase the colors and pattern of the designer paper.
