Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge

I am very into sketches this week. While roaming the blog world I found Sunday Sketch & Stamp Blog and was inspired by this sketch.

Since I didn't make a square card I had to change the layout slightly.

My husband loves the puppy on this card. I have to thanks Sandy Allnock at OWH for the free digi and sentiment.

Sketch Challenge #75

Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps Blog has another wonderful sketch this week.

I have been on a sketch frenzy today. It is so nice to have a plan ready to go and all I have to do is choose the colors, embellishments and sentiment.

Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop



Welcome to my Blog!
Here is my missing you card.

I used my Cuttlebug for the background paper 

(cut at 3 7/8" x 5 3/8")

I embossed the same pattern in yellow 

and cut out one star for the embellishment.

While digging in my scrap box I found the red piece of cardstock 

already "crinkled" (using SU tool) and cut it to 3 7/8" by 1 3/4".  

The card base and all of the white edges of cardstock were inked in black. The stamp is a dollar find from Michael's. I added the yellow star brads and white Puffy paint to finish off the card.
