Clipboard makeover

I am in an altered state of mind and am loving it!

Here is a clipboard that I altered. I want to seal the paper so that it will be permanent. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if I want to add anything else to the clipboard. This is the first one that I have decorated.

S & S Sketch Challenge #60

My friend Eric is celebrating his 13th annual 29th birthday this Saturday, so I decided to make his card today. Over at the OWH Stars & Stamps Blog they have a great sketch.

The squares in the sketch worked out perfectly for the theme of the card. In hawaiian quilting they traditionally use this type of geometric pattern. Since my friend is a fan of all things hawaiian I couldn't resist.
